Presenters and Media Program

The Presenters and Media Program is designed to showcase Cape Breton artists and Celtic Colours International Festival to targeted festival directors and select media. Since the Festival’s inception festival directors and media have gathered at Celtic Colours for networking, access to concerts, Cape Breton artists and the behind the scenes of the Festival. Over time the Program expanded and currently provides financial assistance to invited festival directors, media and other music industry professionals. Our Mission Statement To promote, represent and support participation in Cape Breton arts, music, cultural heritage and hospitality. The Festival Volunteer Drive’er Association is an incorporated not-for profit society under the Registry of Joint Stock by the Province of Nova Scotia. Formed in August 2004, the association’s membership is made up of individuals who volunteer as Drivers with the Celtic Colours International Festival.Drivers further their volunteer time by selling performing artists’ and the Celtic Colours compilation CD at venues during the Festival.
