Campbell Hart

Cape Breton

Campbell Hart is a piano player from North East Margaree, Cape Breton. Since a young age, he has been immersed in and surrounded by music and culture which sparked his interest in it, but only in the last few years has he come into the music scene. Campbell has been taught and mentored by some of the most sought-after piano players on the Island, including Lawrence Cameron, Mac Morin, and Kimberley Fraser, but he is most inspired musically by Cape Breton piano legend Maybelle Chisholm-McQueen. Campbell is known for his drive, superior timing, and lively playing. He can be found playing at venues like the Red Shoe Pub, West Mabou Dances, Celtic Music Interpretive Center, the Normaway Inn, and other ceilidhs and concerts around the Island with various fiddlers and pipers. He is currently in his second year of university attending Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture enrolled in a BSc. Bioveterinary Science. He plans to pursue agriculture and aspires to become a veterinarian, while keeping music a large part of his life.
