We come from the sea is a major new work and a powerful reflection on oceanic memory, myth, movement, marking the Canadian debut of Joan Jonas- a pioneer of video and performance art and onee of the most influential artists of our time. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with the National Gallery of Canada and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, and runs August 10 to October 12 at Eltuek Arts Centre in Sydney and the Inverness County Centre for the Arts.
