Situated along the North Atlantic Coastline, the Cape Breton Miners’ museum is a tribute to the miners and their families. Take a virtual mine tour to learn the history of mining and the evolution of coal through this immersive exhibit. Then, dressed in a cape and hard hat, visitors join a retired miner on a tour of the coal mine, and learn about his work and life, as well as the industry and culture.
