Tonight marks 20 years that we've been gathering at the school in Whycocomagh for songs and tunes during the first weekend of Celtic Colours. And have we got an exciting concert lined up to celebrate our anniversary tonight! In true Whycocomagh Gathering style we'll bring together some good friends, who also happen to be half a dozen of the best players to ever come out of the Cape Breton tradition, and a singer-songwriter from Scotland who can bring a phrase or melody to mind, just by the mention of one of his song titles. It'll be like the best house ceilidh you can imagine. You’ll sing along with the great Dougie MacLean, and then thrill to the biggest blast of Cape Breton tunes ever with a “super group” who can’t wait to play together. Knowing this bunch, it’s safe to say there will probably be some dancing involved too. So don’t miss your chance. This will be one you’ll never forget.
