A Timeless Art delights audiences with their incredible footwork, high-energy performances, and very intentional creative works. Under the direction of Dawn Beaton and Jenny MacKenzie, this collective of professional dance artists honour Gaelic Cape Breton step dance culture through storytelling, visual arts, exploration, mentorship, and performance. Grounded and deeply rooted within this culture, Dawn Beaton (step dance/ fiddle), Margie Beaton (fiddle/piano/step), Melody Cameron (fiddle/ step) and Jenny MacKenzie (step) will come together to lift these traditional steps, rhythms and styles onto the stage and inspire you to deepen your own hearts connection to the music.
