Angus MacKenzie

Scotland / Cape Breton

Angus MacKenzie is a Mabou native with strong family connections to the Hebrides, where he has made his home. Best known as a founding member of Gaelic powerhouse Dàimh, he is also a piper with Scottish piping collective Seudan and performs both solo and alongside his brother Kenneth. Touring and festival circuits take him all over the world but at home his wealth of experience in teaching music sees him in high demand as a piping and whistle tutor, particularly in youth music and Gaelic education.
