Caileagan Mhabu was a group of young Gaelic singers led by Maureen MacKenzie, one of the first Gaelic teachers in the Mabou / Inverness area. The group included K.C. Beaton, Suzanne Sawler, Karen MacLean, Rita and Mary Rankin, and Heather Rankin who started learning Gaelic songs when she joined the Gaelic Singing Group.
