Cameron MacNeil started piping at the age of 10 with Trevor Kellock. He is a member of the Cape Breton Island Pipe Band. He often attended the Gaelic College March Break and Summer youth sessions, learning from many different pipers through the years. He has worked at Colaisde na Gàidhlig [the Gaelic College] for the past few summers as the duty piper. Cameron is also a student at the Beinn Mhàbu campus of Cape Breton University, and will be entering his third year in September.
