You will receive a warm Acadian welcome from instructor, Betty Ann Cormier, a fourth-generation rug hooker with deep roots in the tradition. She will share her expertise, techniques, and fascinating stories about how this cherished craft help put Chéticamp on the map, as the rug hooking capital of Canada. This unique cultural experience is truly one of a kind! All materials are provided, and you will receive a rug hooking kit to continue your creative journey at home. Also included is a free visit to the cultural and Rug Hooking Museum, located at Les Trois Pignons, if you’re interested in exploring more, following the workshop.
