Cape Breton dancer Amanda MacIsaac comes from Colindale, Inverness County. The daughter of Loretta and Brian MacDonald, Amanda started step dancing when she was four years old and although she loves all types of dance, her passion is step dancing. She has had wonderful teachers over the years in Cheryl MacQuarrie, Mary Janet MacDonald and Melody Cameron. No stranger to the stage, Amanda has danced at the Chestico Days Dance Festival in Port Hood, the Broad Cove Concert, and with Brìgh. She can usually be found at the West Mabou Square Dance dancing her heart out every Saturday night. This is Amanda’s fifth time performing at Celtic Colours.
