Angela MacDonald

Cape Breton

Based in Sydney, on Cape Breton Island, Angela MacDonald is a talented singer-songwriter and guitar player whose music can be best described as indie/folk. Her aunt, Rita MacNeil, inspired her to write and invited her to share the stage on several occasions. She was a guest vocalist with Symphony Nova Scotia’s The Fusion Sessions: Flying on Your Own – A Tribute to Rita MacNeil. She recently honoured her aunt at the Cape Breton Music Hall of Fame induction with a family tribute to Rita’s legacy. Angela plays locally on Cape Breton and is very grateful for her talented musical friends who collaborate with her in various shows. Angela will be performing with her brother Duane Nardocchio in the special concert, Rita! Rita! Rita!.
