Cameron Chisholm was born into, and contributed greatly to, a most legendary Cape Breton musical family legacy. The holders of a distinct “Chisholm Style” of playing and repertoire, Cameron, not unlike his siblings Maybelle and Margaret, and uncles Angus and Archie Neil before him, are well known both locally and internationally for their vibrant fiddling and Maybelle, her piano accompaniment. A native of Margaree, Cameron was a favourite at many a dance and concert hall around the island. After a hiatus from public appearances, audiences far and wide are ecstatic that he’s once again playing for all to hear.
