Geoff Lee-Dadswell

Cape Breton

Geoff Lee-Dadswell is a physics professor at Cape Breton University. But when he’s not challenging students with physics problems he enjoys challenging himself on stage as a sometimes dancer, sometimes cellist, sometimes singer. Most recently he has appeared at the Highland Arts Theatre, performing in “The Producers”, and in a pantomime musical with a delightfully rude name. As a cellist, Geoff has played with the Cape Breton Orchestra for 18 years. He has also been in the band for productions at the Highland Arts Theatre, including “Next To Normal”, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, “The Happy Prince”, and “Funny Girl”. With a number of dear friends, he regularly plays classical chamber music concerts. Geoff played in “Celtic Mass for the Sea” in the 2007 Celtic Colours International Festival.  He is excited and honoured to return to performing it this year, and is hoping to even play it right this time!
