Michael & Tracy Cavanaugh

Michael Cavanaugh is a singer-songwriter from Englishtown. At home on fiddle, guitar, and mandolin, he was a member of the high energy Newfoundland band Plankr’ Down that regularly toured the Maritime. Michael performs a mix of popular songs along with his own music and lyrics and released his first album, Down The Road, in 2019. Tracy Cavanaugh is a popular performer, guitar player, and singer-songwriter. He appears regularly at venues around the Island, including the Thistledown pub in Baddeck’s Inverary Inn. He was a member of the Celtic rock band Greyloch, which was nominated for an ECMA award, and has performed and recorded with many artists from around the Island. The father-son duo appeared previously at Celtic Colours in 2018.
