No stranger to Celtic Colours audiences, Mabou native Angus MacKenzie returns to the Festival this year to perform a series of gigs along with his family, who live on the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland. Better known to us as a member of piping group Seudan and Celtic supergroup Dàimh, Angus is joined by son Calum on button box and bagpipes, daughters Màili and MairidhAnne, who play fiddles, accordion and mandolin, and wife Eilidh on clàrsach and piano, who last performed at Celtic Colours with Scottish band Dòchas. Lockdown brought them to play together for some online concerts for their local community groups, which subsequently led to performances at the Blas Festival in Scotland. And now we welcome them all to Celtic Colours!
