Tracey MacNeil

Tracey MacNeil has actively contributed to the fields of education, culture, and community economic development thus far in her career. With a passion for curriculum development and entrepreneurialism, she has owned and operated her own business in Gaelic Cultural Education. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Education from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University on Cape Breton Island. She is a full-time faculty member in the Shannon School of Business at CBU. Following fifteen years of international travel as a professional musician, Tracey now resides on her home island of Cape Breton, along with her husband and their five daughters. Music and culture continue to play a large role in both Tracey’s professional and personal life, contributing to community and educational circles globally.
