Terms and Guidelines

Non-profit organizations, community groups, art/craft guilds, and community-based institutions (educational, historic) may apply to list their event(s) in association with the 2026 Celtic Colours International Festival.

Applications are subject to approval by the Outreach Coordinator and Celtic Colours management.

Event applications will be considered with the following questions in mind:

Is the event hosted by a group that fits into one of the categories listed above?
Does this event support the Celtic Colours concert schedule?
Does this event directly conflict with the Celtic Colours concert schedule or other proposed events? (And, is the organization in agreement to change their date and/or time, if necessary?)
Is there adequate volunteer support to ensure this is a quality community event?
Is the venue, where the event is proposed, deemed a safe premise for hosting public events?
What is the host organization’s history producing events, and if they’ve hosted events during Celtic Colours in the past, were they in good standing, did they meet reporting requirements?

I understand I must ensure the Host Organization and/or the Venue (physical building) carries adequate insurance, and are responsible to take steps for reducing and/or eliminating risk
I understand any subcontractor hired by the Host Organization must also follow risk and liability insurance guidelines. It is the host's responsibility to convey that information to all hired subcontractors and service providers where applicable
I understand any necessary licenses or permits are the responsibility of the Host Organization
