Genticorum is one of the leading groups in Quebec’s traditional music scene. With unbridled energy and a magnetic stage presence, this award-winning trio weaves intricate fiddle, flute, and accordion lines together with rich vocal harmonies, subtle guitar textures, and exhilarating foot percussion. Matching their energy may be a challenge, but it’s a challenge that Cape Breton fiddler, piano player, and step dancer Kimberley Fraser is surely up for. A past Artist in Residence, Kimberley grew up on the Northside so she’ll be right at home tonight, especially with Nova Scotia Country Music Hall Of Famer Aaron Lewis and one of the most sought-after piano players of this generation, Hilda Chiasson, by her side on stage. Award-winning Prince Edward Island singer-songwriter Shane Pendergast has established himself as one of Atlantic Canada’s finest folk troubadours.
