Delores Boudreau, known for the sweet delivery of her voice, makes yet another appearance at Celtic Colours International Festival. Delores Boudreau is sought-after, as a bilingual songstress, skillfully and proudly interpreting in her mother-tongue, the unique dialect of her Ile-Madame. Delores has represented Nova Scotia with two music industry nominations: Female Artist of the Year as well as Artiste francophone de l’année. In recent months, she has produced shows in such Cape Breton communities as: Port Hood, Creignish, Louisdale, St. Peter’s, Petit-de-Grat, and Arichat. Delores was a featured performer in the Congrès Mondial acadien 2024 and the Cape Breton Music Industry Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (2024, 2025). Delores is currently producing Girls with Guitars throughout Cape Breton. The festival is pleased to have Delores Boudreau represent Acadian music and culture at the Fortress of Louisbourg, such a fitting venue to house Delores and her long-time accompanist, Patrick Lamey.
