Fiddler and step dancer Hailee LeFort has been energizing audiences around Cape Breton for over a decade. A native of Margaree, her lively style can be heard from concert halls to dance halls to major festivals. She now lives on Prince Edward Island where she recorded her debut album, It’s Happenin’, in 2018. Romy Munkres is a fiddler, dancer and piper from Vermont, now based on PEI. They grew up in the New England trad music scene, playing tunes from Appalachia and Scandinavia as well as Celtic and French Canadian music. This diversity lends their playing and arrangements an innovative twist. Jesse Périard has toured extensively across Europe, Australia, Canada, and the U.S. as a member of the PEI-based trio Ten Strings and a Goat Skin. He is currently a sideman in high demand as his monstrous guitar accompaniment is sought after by dozens of east coast artists.
