Donald MacLennan

Based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Donald MacLennan is an award-winning violinist, vocalist, composer, and teacher who grew up in Chimney Corner, Inverness County. A multi-genre arranger and improviser, MacLennan has established himself recording and touring internationally with Ben Caplan, the Modern Grass, Duane Andrews, Mary Beth Carty, Michael C Duguay, the Upstream Music Association, and his own jazz manouche project. He loves the ocean, baking bread, collecting records, and chocolate. Donald is performing with Mary Beth Carty and Bradley Murphy at Celtic Colours this year.
