Some of his many fiddle tunes, as well as his songwriting, have been featured on international hit TV shows, CD compilations, and in independent films. Glenn released a book of over 200 original compositions a number of years ago and plans to release another compilation in the near future. He has five recordings and multiple East Coast Music Award nominations to his credit and has recorded with his Beaton family for Smithsonian Folkways. Glenn is also a published author. He wrote the book The Cape Breton Fiddle: Making and Maintaining Tradition (CBU Press) and has published research exploring the connections between Gaelic culture and regional development in Cape Breton.
