Jason Roach is one of the most impressive piano players you will ever hear. With a style all his own, and an unparalleled intensity on the keyboard, you’ll have to remind yourself that there are other players on the stage. Born and raised in Chéticamp, Cape Breton, Jason is featured on albums by Maybelle Chisholm McQueen, Dawn and Margie Beaton, Sprag Session, Còig, and more. He released his own album in 2007 with support from the Festival Volunteer Drive’ers Association. This year Jason will be playing in concerts with fiddlers Chrissy Crowley and Gillian Head, as well as performing in a special concert recognizing recipients of the Festival Volunteer Drive’ers Association’s Big Sampie Award.
