Les Étoiles Acadiennes

Founded in 2024, this Chéticamp-based troupe is dedicated to celebrating and sharing their heritage of traditional Acadian step dancing. Made up of dancers aged 18 to 40, all former members of La Swing du Suête, the group was created to give alumni a space to continue dancing and stay connected to their culture after aging out of the youth troupe. With a flexible, commitment-free approach, members can balance busy lives while still keeping the tradition alive. Though not all 14 members perform at every event, a core group is always ready to take the stage, bringing energy, passion, and cultural pride to every performance. Through their shared history and passion for dance, they are helping keep this cherished tradition alive for future generations.
