Mairearad Green

Having grown up in the West Coast Coigach peninsula of the Scottish Highlands–an area steeped in culture and local traditions–Mairearad Green was introduced to folk music at an early age. Renowned for her deft and lyrical accordion style, as well as her dextrous piping, and haunting vocals, Mairearad is in great demand as a performer and composer. Making her second appearance at Celtic Colours, she will be performing with the Unusual Suspects of Celtic Colours and with Mike Vass.
