As a singer, pianist, fiddler, and actress, who also plays hockey and soccer, Margaret MacPherson loves taking the stage. She started performing at a young age, and has received some amazing opportunities to perform with some very talented musicians from across the province. She thoroughly enjoys performing Cape Breton tunes and plays many instruments including the piano, and the fiddle. She was the first recipient of the Paul Trepanier fiddle through the Treasures of Youth program with the Nova Scotia Highland Village Society. She started acting at the age of 9, when she played the role of Annie in the musical at the CBU Boardmore Playhouse. She has also been featured in productions of Les Miserables, and Chicago. Margaret has performed for audiences across the Island and performs with the Cape Breton Summertime Revue.
