Kenneth MacKenzie is a piper and fiddler, raised in a Gaelic-speaking and musical family in Mabou, Cape Breton. The drive and energetic feel of Kenneth’s music makes him an in-demand performer at dances, concerts, and festivals at home and he travels across Canada, the U.S., and Europe regularly with other artists. He has recorded on several albums and, along with his brother Angus (Dàimh, Seudan), recorded and released the acclaimed album Piob is Fidheall in 2010, nominated for both Music Nova Scotia and East Coast Music Awards. He is a founding member of the piping group Nuallan, releasing an acclaimed debut EP and with festival appearances in the U.S., Ireland, and Scotland. Kenneth is the Director of Education and VP of Beinn Mhàbu, Colaisde na Gàidhlig. Kenneth currently lives in Mabou with his wife Jenny and their three young children.
